Pricing Policy

Consider Yourself Covered strives for accuracy in all item descriptions, photographs, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information contained herein or referenced on our website. Due to human error and other determinates we cannot guarantee that all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information listed is entirely accurate, complete or current, nor can we assume responsibility for these errors. In the event a product listed on our website is labeled with an incorrect price due to some typographical, informational, technical or other error, Consider Yourself Covered shall at its sole discretion have the right to refuse and/or cancel any order for said product and immediately amend, correct and/or remove the inaccurate information.

Price Changes

At Consider Yourself Covered we work to provide our customers with the best prices available. Unfortunately, the cost of goods can rise unexpectedly. Therefore prices are subject to change without notice.

Discounts/Promotions Disclaimer

Discounts cannot be applied to prior orders. Multiple discounts cannot be combined.

Measuring Disclaimer

At Consider Yourself Covered each of our blinds and shades are custom made to your specifications and they will fit your window perfectly if you follow our measuring guidelines. If we make a mistake when manufacturing your blinds or shades we will replace them or fix them at no cost to you. If, however, you make a mistake measuring or entering your measurements into our website, we will remake them for you at a discounted price. For this reason we strongly suggest that you follow these instructions carefully and that you double check the measurements you enter. Please us a metal tape when measuring windows/doors.

Color Disclaimer

Please be sure to order your free samples before placing your order. Colors viewed on your computer monitor can vary dramatically from the actual product. Due to the variances in wood’s natural color, grain, etc. each dye lot will vary for any of the stained wood products. These variances are small, but there is no way to assure the exact color of stained wood blinds. If you are ordering more than one blind, we recommend that you order all of them at the same time. This will ensure they come from the same dye lot so they match one another. Sample colors could also vary slightly because our samples might come from a different dye lot than the blinds you receive. Samples must be ordered within a 90-day time frame prior to purchase.

Although we do our best to portray colors accurately, actual colors will vary. Many colors and subtle textures cannot always be appreciated on computer monitors, which vary from one to another. Since all products are custom-made for you, and cannot be returned, if an exact color match is required, then please request free samples before placing your order. You can do so by clicking on the order samples link located at the top of the page. Remember also that dye lots might vary between the swatch sample and the product you receive. You get your first 10 samples at no cost, and additional swatches are just $3 each. Shipping is free, and they’re usually mailed within 1 business day of your request. You should receive them 3 to 5 business days later.

Order Errors

At Consider Yourself Covered, window treatments are custom-made and ordered based on your measurements and specifications and are therefore non-returnable. Our window treatments are manufactured to the highest quality standards and utilize the highest quality materials and workmanship standards. If you receive a blind, a shade, or a custom drapery product that is defective or not as ordered, please contact us immediately. Any error on our part, or the manufacturer’s, will be promptly corrected. If you make a mistake with your measurements, we will offer you a discount on a replacement order.

Phone Orders
Customers who order by phone are responsible to verify their orders on the order confirmation that is emailed to them after checkout. Customer’s who fail to verify their order, will run the risk of ordering blinds or shades that are the wrong sizes or colors. This verification is a tool to ensure no mistakes are made. Customers should review their email confirmation after every order. If a customer does not receive an email confirmation (for reasons such as an incorrectly entered email address), it is the customer’s responsibility to contact Consider Yourself Covered to obtain their order confirmation.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Consider Yourself Covered will do everything we can to help you with changes to your order. Your order is placed directly with the manufacturer to ensure prompt production and delivery of your blinds/shades. In most situations, it will be difficult to change or cancel orders in time. Orders may be canceled only if the manufacturer can confirm that production has not yet started. Canceled orders will incur a 10% transaction fee. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and sent by fax or by email.

Back-orders
At Consider Yourself Covered we will do our best to ensure an adequate supply of inventory with our manufacturers. However, back order situation may develop. For example, we may experience a back order of materials in specific styles or colors. This would be a rare occurrence. However, a product, pattern or color may be designated as a back order or discontinued by the manufacturer.

Sales Tax

Consider Yourself Covered, charges 9.2% sales tax on all orders sent within the state of Arizona. Consider Yourself Covered does not collect sales tax on orders sent to other states, with the exception of any sales tax that are imposed on Internet sales by law.

Free Shipping

At Consider Yourself Covered, we are committed to offering you the most value for your money. Our Ground Shipping is free within the 48 contiguous United States. Some larger/heavier items, may incur additional oversize freight charges.

Free Shipping Disclaimer

Standard Ground Shipping is included in all orders at no extra cost. Some items that are too large or too heavy for ground shipping by Fedex, UPS, or DHL may incur an additional oversize freight charge. FREE Shipping is available only within the contiguous United States. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will incur additional charges. Shipping to locations outside the United States is not available at this time. If you require 2nd day or 1day service, please call us to make arrangements.

Oversized Freight Charge

A motor carrier freight charge is applied to any shipment 94 inches or longer. Packages of this width exceed the maximum size allowed for UPS, Fedex or DHL. Because of this size restriction, your purchase will be shipped by a motor carrier. Orders that exceed 94 inches in width will be charged a delivery charge of $70.00 for each window treatment over 94 inches. Oversize (over 94 inches in width) orders to Hawaii and Alaska will be charged a delivery charge of $85.00. If you require 2nd day or 1day service, please call us to make arrangements.

Shipping in the United States

Currently, Consider Yourself Covered ships only within the United States. Should Consider Yourself Covered have a change to this policy, we will announce the change on our web site at consideryourselfcovered.com.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii

Orders (under 94 inches in width) ground shipped to Alaska will be charged $30.00 per blind or shade. 2nd day shipping is $60.00 per blind or shade and 1day service is $90.00 per blind or shade. Orders (under 94 inches in width) ground shipped to Hawaii will be charged $50.00 per blind or shade. 2nd day shipping is $100.00 per blind or shade and 1day service is $150.00 per blind or shade. Ground shipping is our default shipping method. If you require 2nd day or 1day service, please call us to make arrangements.

Damaged Shipments

If you receive your shipment, and it is damaged in transit, please notify us within 48 hours so we can process a claim with the carrier. The original packing materials and the damaged product must be made available for inspection.

Productions and Delivery Estimates

Consider Yourself Covered will make every effort to provide a quality product in a reasonable time. There are however, delays from suppliers, availability of materials and shipping. Due to these unforeseen delays Consider Yourself Covered accepts no responsibility for such delays and cannot be held liable for estimated dates of completion. Production times for each product vary but typical production times are 5 to 10 business days. Please allow 2 to 2 1/2 weeks for your order to arrive unless you have chosen to select (at your cost) a shipping upgrade.

**Please keep in mind that you may not receive your complete order all in one shipment. This is due to the fact that our window coverings are fabricated in different production facilities.

Delivery Times

Production and delivery times are an estimate based on business days (i.e. weekends and holidays are excluded). Estimated Delivery is calculated from the date of the order and is subject to product availability. Back orders on fabrics or materials may result in a delay. The time it takes to make a custom window treatment varies by product and manufacturer. For an approximate timetable, please refer to Production and Delivery Estimates.

Force Majeure

Consider Yourself Covered does not guarantee that your order will be shipped in the stated time frame if the failure to ship on time is the result of an Act of God (e.g., fire, flood, inclement weather, epidemic, or earthquake); war or act of terrorism, including chemical or biological warfare; labor dispute, lockout, strike, embargo; governmental acts, orders, or restrictions; failure of suppliers or third persons; or any other reason where failure to ship the order on time is beyond the reasonable control of Consider Yourself Covered.

Privacy Policy

We have never and will never share your information with anyone. We respect your privacy. All personal information you provide to us will remain absolutely confidential and be used solely to communicate better with you.
We will only email you if you choose to receive emails from us. We will never send you spam or unsolicited mail, and promise not to share your email with any third-parties. All information that is passed through our site is secure and encrypted. At Consider Yourself Covered, your privacy is important to us. Cash Back for installation

Consider Yourself Covered offers cash back on your purchases to help pay for a portion of the cost of having your new window coverings installed. Cash back is in the form of pre-paid credit cards that you may use to help pay your installer or to use however you wish for other items to improve the decor of your home. Once you have decided on the type and color of the window covering you want to use, measure all your windows and doors to within an eighth of an inch and contact Consider Yourself Covered. We will be happy to provide you with a price quote that includes all the options you specify.
